Arrive to the allocated meeting place where you will meet your friendly guides. 

After being matched with your steed, you'll experience all that we have to offer. Travail over the black diamond sprinkled dunes and descend onto Muriwai Beach coast line where you can take in the landscaped vistas and sweeping waves. Trail through Woodhill Forest where you will weave through the trees and soak in the smell of fresh pine needles, 

This ride is truly unexplainable and with so many varied terrains and views to be seen you will hardly believe you are on the outskirts of Auckland. 

This trail is suitable for every level of rider. It has a minimum age limit of 10 years old and under 95kg (unless agreed upon prior to booking). Please note this trail may have mixed group bookings and is NOT a private booking.

This ride is mostly at walking speed. Clients who can demonstrate a suitable level of previous riding experience may be offered the opportunity to trot in some areas but this is not guaranteed. All faster riding is at the discretion of our guides and will be based upon the safety of all participants on the trail. No faster riding is promised nor will it be offered if our guides do not feel it is appropriate. If you have experience and want to ride faster than a walk we advise you to book in on one of our Intermediate trails to avoid being disappointed should trotting not be offered on this trail.
