WALKING ONLY - Our most popular trek for kids and beginners. Trek on horseback through unforgettable scenery over the stunning black sand of Muriwai Beach and then up through the enchanting Woodhill forest and when possible (tide and weather dependent) through a waterhole to let the horses have a drink. After meeting your friendly guides, you will be matched with your steed. After a short safety briefing, you will experience the black diamond sprinkled dunes of Muriwai Beach and take in the landscaped vistas and sweeping waves. You will hardly believe you are on the outskirts in Auckland. This trail is truly memorable and is suitable for every level but especially beginners, all riders must be a minimum of 5 years old and under 95kg (unless agreed upon prior to booking).
